I got in some yummy pink yarn today. A pink flag yarn and a pink ribbon yarn. Mmmm, mmm good!

Hat I made to match scarf done in bulky virgin wool. 

I entered some of this into the Hancock County Fair. 

Working on this one now.

Made this the other day ago. Turned out pretty cool.

A nice 3 piece set in the stash. It originally cost $133 dollar plus change. The embroidery thread is 100% pure wool.

Swedish Half Cross Stitch Stash

A local lady is trying to de-Stash her Swedish Half-Cross Stitch treasure trove. She will be concentrating on knitting. She has about 40 patterns, 4 wool kits, 1 cotton kit,  and miscellaneous wool embroidery thread. Call me at 641-582-2224 if you are interested in purchasing the stash with patterns for $250.

Turned out like one of those Russian hats with the fur around the bottom.

For these hats I work a six sided granny square until I get the crown the size I want it. Then I stop increasing and put one cluster in each space. ;-)

The extra added texture in this yarn , pops, pretty nice.

I have been able to get some really nice hats with this.

I have been experimenting with this cloche style.

The spinning demo with Holly Adams has begun. She is using her Ashford wheel to spin wool today. Should be here til 3:30pm. 131 North Clark Street, Forest City, Iowa.

Scarf I crocheted  today in tunisian knit stitch, made from angora yarn hand spun at Buffalo Creek Ranch in Titonka, Iowa. ;-)

My booth at the Titonka Craft Fair last Saturday. They had over 70 vendors. I brought, books, needles, yarn, and handmade items. It was a very competitive show. 

Made hat from pinwheel washcloth pattern. Added a band to finish it off.

Made this band with tunisian crochet and added cables. You can just make them out around the band.

Had a great time at the Forest City Christian School Auction. They had quite a few vendors, in addition to a lot of nice items for auction, and quite a few tables for the silent auction.

It started with the forest green crocodile stitch baby hat and then I started going "buck wild" with this baby hat. I want to make it in every color and type of yarn possible, cotton, acrylic, wool, alpaca.....

 Somebody stop me please.

Have double pointed knitting needles in US10(6.0mm), US 10.5 (6.5 mm) US 11(8.0 mm), US 13 (9.0mm), and US15 (10 mm). I will be putting them out for sale today.

I have an Etsy shop and have been updating my website. I have a great time at my classes in Albert Lea, Minnesota last night. I think my students enjoyed it also. Trying to keep up with modern technology. BIG FUN.

I finished the scarf last night to go with my acorn hat. They look great together!
